  • Recently, a male Buker surname descendant of Israel Hilton Buker with his second wife, Sarah Black contacted me willing to test. This is wonderful to our research! Because Israel Hilton Buker and his first wife shared common ancestors having a descendant of the 2nd wife helps with autosomal data. Also, because our connection to this tester is first seen at Israel Hilton Buker b. 1756 level we can closely compare between the testers we do have descending from Joseph Hilton and Luke Perkins to see which mutations occurred between the Hilton branch that became Bowker later Buker that was historically Perkins. It would be great to have more testers from a male descendant of Israel Hilton and the other ancestors along the Perkins line to dial in the theory and prove it beyond doubt
